WIN SYSTEM Story Telling Course in English for Middle School

Keeping a diary or journal may sound very old-fashioned, something that a Jane Austen heroine would do. It is certainly something that many distinguished people, including a number of established writers, have done in the past. It has also featured in literature over many years, with famous diary-keepers including Adrian Mole and Bridget Jones.

Keeping a diary has many benefits. These include improving your mental health, as a result of giving you a place to vent your feelings, and an ability to process difficult experiences.

A diary is also a way to keep track of your feelings and views and how they have changed over time, which can be particularly helpful in personal development terms.

Tell A Story About a Fake News They Read

Fake news[a] is false or misleading information presented as news.[3][4][5] It often has the aim of damaging the reputation of a person or entity, or making money through advertising revenue.[6][7][8] However, the term does not have a fixed definition, and has been applied more broadly to include any type of false information, including unintentional and unconscious mechanisms, and also by high-profile individuals to apply to any news unfavourable to their personal perspectives. After watching a video, and a short discussion about fake news and how to spot them, the students share fake news they read or heard in their own countries. Then, they will write  a campaign to stop fake news on social as well as mass media. Their work will be published in TBC-InTV Portal.

The teachers check on the grammar, fluency, pronunciation, delivery, posture, and general performance.

Adventures inside the Glass Ocean

WIN SYSTEM SKILL:

WIN SYSTEM SKILL:

This next storytelling activity is a combo of creativity, and linguistic style. Ask the students to create an imaginary aquarium made out of any jar that they can find at home. Let the children put some pebbles, sand, and a little grass in it. Let them fill it with water.

The teacher asks the children to close their eyes and imagine the glass expanding into a huge glass as big as an ocean. Then, have them imagine a month-long life of adventure inside that glass ocean. What they saw, what they did, who they met, how was life under the ocean? After 5 minutes, the teacher calls each one to tell their story in the class. The rest of the class listens as one tells his or her story. they are encouraged to ask questions.
